OUR COLD WEATHER POLICY KEEPS THE LIFTS RUNNING LONG-TERM.

Northerners are a pretty resilient bunch, but we need to keep our equipment running, and make sure that our younger skiers are looked after in extreme conditions:

-30C and Colder (without windchill): we close down the T-Bar, Bayline, and Sunshine lifts. The tow rope still runs!

-40C and Colder (with windchill): we’re closed down completely.

Sometimes, when the morning is cold but the afternoon isn’t, we’ll delay opening lifts until 12:00pm instead of closing for the full day.

Any changes to our operation due to weather will be posted by Friday night on our Facebook page. So if the weekend looks a little nippy, check out our feed and make sure you’re not showing up too early!
