We *are* still in Red status in Manitoba, It's official: Mystery Mountain is opening on Saturday, January 2, 2020!
We *are* still in Red status in Manitoba, so there are some big limits to the way we can operate:
The chalet is for purchasing tickets and picking up your rentals, and bathroom use only. In one door, out the other.
There will be no food or beverage service, and no hanging out in the chalet until Manitoba's pandemic status is downgraded. If you need to warm up, it's going to have to be in your car.
The ski patrol building is absolutely off-limits to anyone except ski patrollers and patients this year.
Skiers and snowboarders may only ride on the T-Bar with members of their family.
Pass photos for new members must be taken outside.
If you were a member last year, we'll automatically be printing a new pass for you using your old photo. Don't worry. You looked great.
You've probably all noticed that it has gotten cold out there, and cars take a bit of time to warm up. We really encourage all of our members to make sure to bring a few supplies to help keep themselves warm: a change of clothes, an extra pair of mitts, and a thermos full of something hot can go a long way in keeping you warm on the slopes.
So yea, all that sounds like kind of a bummer, we know. But it's also a great opportunity to switch up your routine or try something new! Get out of the chalet and join your children on the slopes! Rent a pair of snowshoes and stay warm by staying moving! Eat those extra calories!
